Hello and welcome. I have been painting since 2012, but my immersion in the arts started long before that. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where I studied graphic design and visual communication. This paved the way to a successful career as a graphic designer/art director for over 20 years. 

​Eager to make a greater contribution, I shifted gears and entered a graduate program in Learning Design and Technology. Since then, I've been designing corporate training programs. But I missed being immersed in the arts, so I tried my hand at painting and found that I love it.

​My abstract colorscapes are unplanned. I aim to capture movement and the emotions of the moment, rather than depicting things that can be seen in the everyday world. With pastel, I paint in various styles ranging from realistic to whimsical.
